Our client is looking for an experienced and qualified conveyancer to manage and run the Conveyancing department at their office in Chichester.
You will handle own caseload and consistently achieve monthly billing targets.
From first-time buyers purchasing their first home to experienced property investors dealing with the purchase of complex high-value properties: Freehold and Leasehold Purchases and Sales, Re-mortgages, Transfer of Equity, Shared Ownership to
include Staircasing, New Build Property (inc Help to Buy), Lease Extensions.
The Head of Department would also be expected to handle matters in Leasehold
enfranchisement, equity release.
Manage the residential conveyancing team (2 conveyancers, 3 support staff): Distribute workload, monthly residential conveyancing department meetings to discuss monthly billing / targets / new file openings / quotes given.
Responsible for the training of staff in your department (CPD inc CQS training updates, mentoring and supervision of staff joining the team.)
CQS re-accreditation to continue membership.
Lender Panels.
Business development: Building good relations and regular communications with local estate agents and contacts.
Marketing / advertising: Monthly conveyancing blogs with updates for clients / potential clients.
Redbrick case management system is used by all the conveyancing department.
You will need to be a qualified Conveyancer with experience of managing a Conveyancing team.
Salary negotiable.
25 days of holiday per annum, which increases after 2 years by one day each year up to a maximum of 30 days.
