On behalf of our client, we are recruiting an experienced Senior Conveyancer to lead the rebuild of a modern, efficient conveyancing department. This is a clean‑slate leadership role with no backlog, no inherited issues, and full support from the Principal.

The ideal candidate will be commercially balanced, steady, organised, and confident running residential conveyancing matters while shaping workflows and future support‑staff structure.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years’ residential conveyancing experience

• Comfortable working within established systems
• Positive, professional attitude

Role Responsibilities

• Running and supervising residential conveyancing matters
• Designing and improving workflows
• Leading on compliance and risk management
• Building relationships with local agents
• Helping recruit and mentor future support staff
• Reporting directly to the Principal

Commercial Expectations

• This is a senior role, not a low‑volume “quality only” position
• Expected caseload: 35–45 active matters, supported by admin staff
• The department must operate at a commercially viable level
• The role includes leadership, not just fee‑earning
